I graduated from Bemidji State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Design with an emphasis in Exhibit Design and Graphic Design. I currently reside in the Minneapolis area.
I have always loved art, I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil. As I got older I became more interested in design. I love the change that I can create with a simple design. I can make someone's life a little easier, make someone feel emotions that they haven't felt in a long time, or teach someone something about themselves or the world. I have especially become interested in the design of meaningful experiences. Our lives are filled with experiences, the meaningful ones are what makes us feel alive. I want to create experiences that are meaningful and memorable. I want to rethink the everyday experiences that are dull and meaningless and make them into something that is meaningful. To me, being a designer is one of the most amazing and fulfilling things I can be.
When I'm not designing you might find me doing mixed martial arts, which I have been doing for 15 years now. I also play electric guitar and love to play video games. Currently, my favorite game is Witcher 3. I love hanging out with my pets, an Australian Shepherd and a Bengal. Ask me about them and you may receive a complimentary picture of adorableness. I also like Hot Cheetos, sushi, and have an odd obsession with dragons.
